and it tastes great.
All you need is:
5tbsp Coconut Oil (we get ours from www.chia4uk.com)
3 tbsp Cocoa Powder
2 tbsp honey
3 tbsp Desiccated Coconut
2 drops Almond Extract
With the weather being warm the coconut oil is already pretty soft, so you can just mix all the ingredients together and put in ice cube trays in the freezer for 1-2 hours. You can keep them in the freezer and just get them out when you want them.
Feel free to experiment with the ingredients, we have made some with ground almonds rather than coconut before, and one I haven’t made yet but want to is Rum & Raisin. So if anybody makes it before me, let me know how it tastes.
Now if you are trying to lose weight, even though these are low sugar and have a lot of health benefits compared to your standard dairy milk, you don’t want to go eating a full tray. Keep them for treats but don’t feel guilty having a couple every now and again.
