So I did my first KB Juggling workout yesterday. I just wanted to get an idea of where I was at in terms of fitness, confidence (with my knee), and how my knee reacted to the exercises.
I started off doing some basic flips with the 12kg, which felt good so I moved up to the 16kg after 5 mins or so. After a few minutes I was feeling confident, so decided to see if I could achieve the Level 1 standard (20 alternating front flips, 20 alternating reverse flips), which I managed pretty comfortably.
Practiced some Uppercut flips, which involve taking the KB through the legs and round the knee, so I was obviously cautious of these, but again after a few minutes practiced I thought I'd go for level 2 (10 alt. uppercut flips, 10 left, 10 right). Again I was successful, but I was blowing at these point so decided to call it a day.
These were all skills I was confident doing before my op, so I didn't have to learn anything new, it was just nice to know I could still do them and my knee didn't give me any trouble.
To get ranked I need to provide video evidence of each level, so I'll do this next week (or I might wait until the snow has gone!) and get them posted on here.
