Person: But I can't eat late at night!
Person: Because it will make me fat
Person: "Because 'so and so' told me so" or "Because I read it in a magazine"
I must have had this conversation with at least 20 people this last week alone and it's driving me crazy. It's even more frustrating when people say "I can't eat after 8pm".
What happens when the clocks go back? Does your body instantly know that, or can you not eat after 7?
What if you work nights?
It's a ridiculous theory, so let's set the record straight.
If your body needs the calories, it needs the calories. Regardless of whether it's 12am, 8pm or 2 o'clock in the morning, if you need calories your body will use them and not store them as fat. Sure there are ways to structure your eating to optimize fat loss and prevent you over eating, but it really is as simple as that.
